iPhone 14 Rumored to have a Pillshaped Cutout and a 48MP Quad-Bayer Camera

TrendForce, a Taiwanese research firm, as well as other sources says that iPhone 14 Pro models will include a 48-megapixel camera. Our first thought is that the company will finally use Quad-Bayer technology, increasing the ability to capture brighter and clearer images at night and lowlight. It may also be capable of recording 8K videos and providing photos in full resolution and binned down image. On its front-facing camera, there were rumors that it had two cutouts. The Face ID will be housed in a “hole-punch” cutout, while the front-facing camera and other sensors will be housed in a pill-shaped cutout.

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 14 series, which will include four models, is expected to launch in September 2022. These models are the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. Two of the iPhones will be high-end models, while the other two will be lower-end models, as is the case with the current iPhone 12 lineup. All iPhone models are said to have 120Hz screens and are expected to have 6GB of RAM. Guess the price will all matter to the storage and camera.

In terms of future iPhones, sources say that Apple will also use a periscope telephoto lens in 2023, along with an under-display Face ID, which will remove the famous notch and make the next iPhone generation a full-screen device.

These pieces of information are subject to change and we are excited to see the official release soon. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
