Because the Galaxy Tab S8 slates took longer to arrive, there have been numerous leaks, including technical specifications and official product images. It could be unveiled at the upcoming MWC or alongside the S22 series, but Samsung hasn’t said anything about it yet. It’s possible that it’ll make its debut at the launch of the Galaxy S22 series.
According to WinFuture, and other sources, the company will unveil three models, the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, with a 14.6-inch Super AMOLED display, will be the series’ largest tablet and the only one with a notch. The selfies are dual cameras with both 12MP sensors whereas Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8+ will only have a single selfie camera and web function. However, all three have the same rear-facing cameras, a 13MP main sensor, and a 6MP ultra-wide sensor.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset will power all three tablets, which will run Android 12 with Samsung UI 4.1 on top. All will have quad Dolby Atmos speakers, a MicroSD card slot, dual rear cameras, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. There should be a magnetic side for the S Pen stylus as well.
The standard configuration includes 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, with 256GB storage available for the S8 and S8+. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will have up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will also have the largest battery, measuring 11,200mAh. The S8+ will have a 10,090 mAh battery, while the Galaxy Tab S8 will have an 8,000 mAh battery.
