Kia Philippines has recently unveiled the new 2022 Kia Sorento in the country.
The 2022 Kia Sorento comes in two variants: 4×2 SX 8DCT, and 4×2 EX 8DCT. This new SUV sports a new design and a bigger tiger-nose grille. It measures 4,810mm long, 1,900mm wide, and 1,695mm tall. According to the company, the Sorento boasts its spacious and luxurious interior, including leather seats, with the SX variant’s power seats with driver memory, front-seat cooling and heating, and more.

The 7-seater SUV now offers a spacious interior and has features such as push start/stop, dual-zone climate control, power-folding second-row seats, power-folding tailgate, and an 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
More features can be found in the SX variant that includes a 12-inch LCD instrument cluster, 8-way power-adjustable and ventilated front seats, memory seats for the driver, wireless phone charger, blind spot camera, 360-degree surround-view camera, rear and forward collision avoidance assist, and lane-keep and follow assist.
In addition, the 2022 Kia Sorento is equipped with advanced safety features including Blind Spot View Monitor, 360-Degree Surround View Camera, Rear Cross and Forward Collision Assist, and Lane Keep Assist available for the SX variant.
For the engine, both variants come with a 2.2-liter SmartStream Diesel engine capable of 202 horsepower and 441 Nm of torque.
All Kia vehicles come with a 5-year or 160,000kms warranty (whichever comes first). Owners are also entitled to after-sales services nationwide and 24/7 Roadside Assistance.
Pricing and Availability
The 2.2L 4×2 EX DCT variant is priced at PHP 2,398,000 and will be on the market by January 2022. On the other hand, the 2.2L 4×2 SX DCT variant will retail for PHP 2,588,000 and it will be available starting the fourth week of November.
