Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) has recently announced the launch of the all-new Honda CBR500R in the country. It now has a more aggressive-looking front end with slightly bigger LED headlights and windshield.
The Honda CBR500R features a new inverted front suspension of Showa 41mm Separate Function Fork Big Piston (SFF BP). According to the company, it can provide excellent control when turning or braking at high speed for a sports riding experience. A 296mm dual-disc front brake with a radial-mount caliper mainly handles the stopping power of the sports bike. It also has lightweight 5-spoke sporty wheels.

Other features such as an LCD display with dual trip meters, fuel level and consumption gauges, as well as a shift-up indicator. ABS, slipper/assist clutch, and an emergency stop signal has been added. In addition, it also includes all-LED lighting for the headlight, taillight, and turn light.

Powering the sports bike is a 471cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke parallel-twin engine that generates 47hp at 8,500rpm and 43Nm of torque at 6,500rpm, and fuel efficiency of 28.6 km/L.
The all-new Honda CBR500R comes in two colors: the Grand Prix Red and the Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
It is priced at PHP 364,000, and it is now available at all Honda Big Bike dealerships nationwide.
