Apple has announced the new Mac mini, now available with the all-new M6 chip or M5 Pro. The updated desktop brings faster CPU and graphics performance, improved AI capabilities, and new connectivity options.
The Mac mini with M6 features a 12-core CPU and 12-core GPU with Neural Accelerators in every GPU core. Apple says it delivers up to 40 percent faster CPU performance, up to 2x faster graphics, and up to 4x faster AI performance compared with the previous Mac mini with M4.
It also comes with a Dual 16-core Neural Engine, 16GB of unified memory as standard, and support for up to 32GB. Memory bandwidth reaches up to 170GB/s.
For more demanding workloads, the Mac mini with M5 Pro offers up to an 18-core CPU and 20-core GPU. It supports up to 64GB of unified memory and 307GB/s of memory bandwidth, along with Thunderbolt 5 connectivity.
Both models support Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and 2.5Gb Ethernet, with a 10Gb Ethernet option. The M6 model has three Thunderbolt 4 ports, while the M5 Pro version gets three Thunderbolt 5 ports.
The new Mac mini will run macOS 27, which adds new Apple Intelligence features, including Siri AI, along with updates to Spotlight, Safari, Shortcuts, Photos, and other system features.
The Mac mini with M6 starts at PHP 64,990. It features a 12-core CPU, 12-core GPU, and dual 16-core Neural Engines.
