Xiaomi’s Blackshark Gaming phone spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 845

Previous speculations have appeared suggesting that Xiaomi’s upcoming gaming smartphone would be called Blackshark. Last month, a device with the same name appeared on AnTuTu, a benchmarking website, which confirmed this speculation. Today, the handset has made another appearance, this time on Geekbench with the codename Blackshark SKR-A0.

The listing from Geekbench has confirmed some of the information found on the previous AnTuTu listing. As seen in the photo, Xiaomi Blackshark will run on Android 8.0 Oreo with 8GB of RAM. The handset is also expected to sport the Snapdragon 845 processor. As for Xiaomi Blackshark’s score, it received a single-core score of 2452 and a multi-core score of 8452.

According to the AnTuTu listing, the handset will feature a Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The phone will also contain an internal storage of 32 GB. Although according to rumors, the device might come in other variations with an internal storage of 64GB and 128GB.

Presently, there are no official announcements on Xiaomi Blackshark’s other specifications. Furthermore, there is no information in regards to its launch date.
