Xiaomi has launched its first solar panel designed for outdoor cameras.This solar panel is specifically made for the Xiaomi BW500 outdoor camera, providing up to 5W of power.
Last month, Xiaomi released the BW500 camera. The BW500 offers a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, an F1.6 large aperture, and a 136-degree wide-angle lens. It also has infrared and LED lights, providing clear night vision up to 10 meters in low-light conditions. The BW500 is also equipped with a 10000mAh battery that can last up to six months!
As for the solar panel, Xiaomi claims it can achieve high efficiency with just 3 hours of direct sunlight daily. The panel is protected against dust and water with an IP66 rating and includes a waterproof USB-C charging cable. It is also crafted from high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon, allowing continuous camera recording. Its charging port features a wing-shaped soft rubber design to prevent rainwater from entering during charging.
