A few months ago, Xiaomi has released their latest flagship dubbed as the Xiaomi Mi 8. The company also added the Mi 8 SE and Mi 8 Explorer Edition to the lineup. Now, an Indian tipster claims that Xiaomi has plans on making the family bigger.

The smartphones will be called – Mi 8 Youth and Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition which is said to be announced very soon in mainland China.
Mi 8 Youth
The Mi 8 Youth is expected to come in three variants – 4GB of RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB of RAM + 6GB storage, and 6GB of RAM + 128GB storage which will be available in colors – Space Gray, Gold, and Blue.
Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Scanner Edition
On the other hand, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Scanner Edition is expected to come in two variants – 6GB of RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB of RAM + 128GB storage. which will be available in colors – Black and Gold.

Further details about the specifications of the two aren’t disclosed yet. However, by analyzing the names, the Mi 8 Youth will be a toned-down version and affordable version of Mi 8.
Meanwhile, the Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Scanner Edition from the name itself will be featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is similar to the Mi 8 Explorer Edition but is expected to share some specifications with the Mi 8.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 houses a 6.21-inch FHD+ S-AMOLED display with 2248 x 1080 resolution. It offers a screen-to-body ratio of 88.5 percent. As mentioned, this smartphone receives power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. It comes in three models – 6GB RAM with 64GB or 128GB or 256GB internal storage.
