While we wait for the arrival of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 series in the Philippines, in China, the company is apparently preparing to launch the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro to start up the 5G market. Alongside the two upcoming phones are two new SoCs from MediaTek, namely, the Dimensity 800+ and Dimensity 800. We’ve already seen the latter debut on the OPPO A92 that was released two weeks ago, but this is the first time MediaTek is officially announcing a “plus” variant.Â
The existence of the Redmi Note 10 series comes from a 3D certification with model numbers M2004J7AC and M2004J7BC. Aside from the SoC, and the fact that it comes with 5G built-in modems, only the charging rate is reported featuring 22.5W and 33W. There’s no word yet about the launch date of the Redmi Note 10 series, however, it should be revealed in the next few weeks as the Dimensity 800 series is scheduled to be announced on May 7th.
