The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in China has officially certified the Xiaomi Mix Flip, bringing some surprising details to light.
One unexpected revelation is the device’s support for satellite connectivity, adding an interesting twist to its capabilities.
In addition to the satellite connectivity feature, the certification also confirms that the Mix Flip will run on the Android operating system and support 5G.
While the certification doesn’t spill the beans on all the device specs, previous leaks have given us a glimpse.
Rumor has it that the Mix Flip will boast the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a triple camera setup, including a 3x telephoto lens.
We’re excited about the Mix Flip and really hoping it keeps the sleek and stylish look of the Mix Fold that we all love. But there’s a bit of a bummer, it might only be available in China, just like the Mix Fold.
