Rumors have been spreading about the alleged Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S in regards to its specifications and features ever since it was reported that the smartphone’s launch will be on March 27, 2018. An image of the device has just surfaced today where it reveals that the phone may contain an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
There are expectations that the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S may be an upgrade of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 which was launched last year. According to the leaked photo, the new device will contain a higher screen-to-body ratio compared to the Mi MIX 2. A photo showing the handset also appeared last month where it showed that the phone will appear with a full Screen 3.0 design as well as feature an under-display fingerprint scanner. It will also feature 12 MP optical zoom dual camera. It will be powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset and will contain 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM.
Other leaks regarding the device include that it may contain a 6.01-inch OLED display expected to have an aspect ratio of 18:9 and FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The positioning of the front camera is difficult to figure out for the photo above isn’t clear enough.
Although photos of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S have appeared, there is still no confirmation if they are real or not.
