It has been confirmed that the Huawei P20 will allow its users to take beautiful pictures even in low-light conditions. The smartphone will officially be launched on March 27, as confirmed by the company itself. According to some rumors, the phone is expected to have stellar dual rear cameras. It was also rumored that the P20 Plus/Pro may feature a triple-lens system so its camera abilities might be better than the P20.
Huawei’s president for mobile department released a teaser today through his Weibo account. In his Weibo post, it mentioned that, “Huawei P20 is not afraid of darkness and the night is clearer. Let’s see the technical innovation of Huawei Again #SeeMooore# With AI.”
The Huawei CEO Richard Yu also mentioned that they had some very big, bold, big innovation on camera technology and that it would be much better than all the phones in a recent interview. The P20’s cameras will also be powered by AI.
According to GizmoChina, it is also rumored that the P20 Plus/Pro’s triple camera setup will include 12-megapixel RGB sensor, a 16-megapixel monochrome sensor and a 16-megapixel telephoto lens. Other features include f/1.8 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization. The Huawei P20 may come with RGB + monochrome dual camera setup.
The P20 and P20 Plus/Pro will be run by Kirin 970. The P20 may contain a 5.7-inch display and the P20 Plus/Pro may have a 6.0-inch display but both are said to feature FHD+ resolution.
