The Xiaomi Mi Band 5 might be your new favorite wearable all thanks to its affordable price. Coming in with a 1.2-inch display that highlights its 100+ new animated watch faces such as Neon Genesis Evangelion, Case Closed, Hatsune Miku, and SpongeBob SquarePants, the Mi Band 5 is already available in China with a price of CNY 189(~P1.3k) for the non-NFC variant and CNY 229(~P1.6k) for the one with NFC.
Some of the features to expect from the new band is its magnetic charging dock. This gives you the freedom to charge your band without taking it off from the strap. Also, there are 11 fitness tracking modes that will help you with your workout while the Personal Activity Intelligence score will track them for you. Workouts are not the only thing the smart wearable is tracking; it can also monitor your sleep and helps you identify if you have sleep problems. With it, you can control music, receive notifications, and as well as track menstrual cycles. For battery life, the device can last up to 14 days, as claimed by Xiaomi, thanks to its 500mAh battery. The Mi Band 5 also gives you several color options to choose from — black, blue, pink, orange, purple, yellow, green, and gray.
Through a tweet, Xiaomi revealed that its affordable fitness tracker will roll out to global markets starting July 2020.
