Last month, the Xiaomi Mi A2 was spotted NCC certification. And in late June, rumors had suggested that it will be launched during Xiaomi’s Global event.
Now, the leak of the said device has been surfacing around showing a live photo with a design that resembles the Mi 6X and an About phone page flashed on the screen.
It shows that it was updated until the May 2018 patch. Just before launch, it was reported that the Mi A2 already made an appearance on a Swiss website and on a hands-on video by a Spanish Youtuber. Both were taken down.
Going back, the About screen confirms that the upcoming device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset similar with Mi 6X.
Xiaomi Mi A2 is speculated to sport a 5.99-inch LTPS IPS LCD with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. Under the hood, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 with Adreno 512 that runs Android 8.1 Oreo Android One packed with 3010 mAh battery capacity. For the camera department, Mi A2 will be equipped with dual 12MP + 20MP camera and 20MP front camera.
