Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun shared some sample photos of the Mi 8 ahead of its launch in China. The photos were taken on the same location but at different times of the day. The photos shared by Lei Jun showcased the daylight and low-light performance of the cameras on the Mi 8.
According to recent reports, the Mi 8 will feature an AI-driven dual camera setup on the rear consisting of 20MP f/1.7 sensor and another 16MP f/2.0. Though take note that these photos are not in HD since these were compressed on Weibo.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 might feature a 6.2″ OLED notched display with FHD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 19:9. It might be powered by the Snapdragon 845 along with 6GB of RAM and an internal storage of 128GB. The device might also be fueled by a 3,300mAh battery and run on Android Oreo. The Mi 8 might arrive with a price tag of 2,999 Yuan (approx. Php 24,703).
