A new design of Xiaomi has surfaced online showing off a new design for the series.
Apparently, in this render, it has notched display. It is no wonder Xiaomi will also go this route, but it is not yet confirmed. Mix series has kept its camera at the bottom right corner and adding a notch display will result in the front camera placing at the top.
Mi 7’s render also shows an in-display fingerprint scanner as the scanner at the back isn’t present. As most phones that don’t have this feature, we can also assume that it has face unlock for added security.
The rear camera placement is the same as Mi Mix 2S. Starting to Mi 5, Xiaomi switched to glass and surprisingly with Mi 7 they used metal finish which also means it may not support wireless charging.
With the recent launch of Mi Mix 2S, it looks like we’ll still have to wait for months for the announcement of Mi 7’s product launch.
