The spotlight is on for the “new generation of movie lover’s phone” with Xiaomi officially revealing the global launch date of its flagship Mi 11 phone. The company set an online launch event on February 8, 2021, at 8 PM (GMT+8). To recap, Xiaomi Mi 11 highlights 120Hz AMOLED, a 108MP camera, and at least 50W wired and wireless charging. In China, the phone starts at CNY 3999(~Php29,300) for the 8GB/128GB model. However, local retailers have been selling the 8GB/256GB model for Php38,990, albeit with Global ROM and a 6-month warranty only.
Aside from the Mi 11 going global next month, there’s a chance the Mi 11 Pro will debut as well. Leaks show the Pro model featuring a periscope lens that delivers up to 120x Zoom. But for the rest of the specs that might separate it from the Mi 11, we’re pretty much left in the dark.
