China’s biggest phone company, Xiaomi is reportedly planning to release a smartwatch of its own which is more affordable compared to Apple Watch.

The manufacturer dubbed as China’s Apple is say to take on Apple in the new category of this wearable. Since the latter is expect to launch the anticipated Apple Watch on April 24.

According to the report of technology news website 36Krypton, the Xiaomi smartwatch will come in a large round dial that of similar to the Moto 360 and LG G Watch R and will sport a brushed metal design identical to that of HTC One M9.

It could offer pulse wave velocity identification and would permit users to verify their identity using their own individual pulse waves.
