Xiaomi aims to regain what they lost
In a competitive market plagued by numerous manufacturers, striving to be on top and remaining above everyone else proves to be more difficult on the latter. Looking to regain what they lost, Xiaomi wants to add more mid-range and high-end smartphones on their arsenal.
The recent emergence of Huawei, OPPO and Vivo pushed Xiaomi to boost sales by expanding their smartphone portfolio for the year 2017. In terms of shipped smartphones, Huawei leads the race and behind them will be OPPO and Vivo. While Xiaomi takes the fourth spot.
Even with the release of the Mi Note 2 and the beautifully crafted Mi MIX, sales are still below market expectation for 2017 first quarter, so far.
