
Xiaomi has officially introduced its latest flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, in China.
On the front, the 17 Pro features a 6.3-inch 1.5K OLED display with up to 3,500 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Xiaomi Shield Glass. The Pro Max gets a bigger 6.9-inch screen with Xiaomi Shield Glass 3.0 protection.
For cameras, the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max share a 50MP Light Fusion 950L main sensor with Leica Summilux lens, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto.

However, the 17 Pro features a 5x telephoto with 20cm telemacro, while the Pro Max offers a 5x telephoto with 30cm telemacro. Both support 8K video recording. On the front, there is a 50MP selfie camera with 4K 60fps video.
Both models are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with 12GB or 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage.

Battery-wise, the 17 Pro is powered by a 6,300mAh battery, while the Pro Max carries a 7,500mAh battery. Charging options include 100W wired and 50W wireless HyperCharge.
Out of the box, the devices ship with a HyperOS 3.0 based on Android 16 operating system.


The Xiaomi 17 Pro starts at CNY 4,999 (approx. PHP 40,799) for the 12GB + 256GB model, going up to CNY 5,999 (about PHP 48,999) for the top 16GB + 1TB variant.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is priced from CNY 5,999 (approx. PHP 48,999) for the 12GB + 512GB model, reaching up to CNY 6,999 (about PHP 56,999) for the highest 16GB with 1TB configuration.
