
The limited-edition version of the Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III has arrived in the local market, the Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III Commemorative Edition.
According to Canon, the current PowerShot lineup is divided into three series. The G series focuses on compact cameras with advanced imaging features, the V series is designed for video and vlogging, while the SX series offers high zoom capabilities.
The special version features a graphite finish, a knurled control ring, and a 30th anniversary logo on the camera body.

The commemorative package also includes a special wrist strap and packaging with matching anniversary branding.
Originally launched in 2019, the PowerShot G7 X Mark III features a 3.0-inch 1.04 million-dot tilting touchscreen LCD that flips up to 180 degrees for selfies and vlogging.
Inside, it uses a 20.1MP 1-inch stacked CMOS sensor paired with Canon’s DIGIC 8 image processor. It also comes with a built-in 24-100mm f/1.8-2.8 4.2x optical zoom lens.
For video and shooting features, the camera supports up to 30fps RAW Burst mode, 4K video recording at 30fps, and up to 120fps slow-motion recording.
The device is powered by the NB-13L rechargeable Li-ion battery rated for up to 235 shots. It also supports USB charging.
Other features include a 3.5mm microphone input, WiFi, Bluetooth, and USB-C connectivity.
Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III 30th Anniversary Commemorative Edition is priced at PHP79,998 in the Philippines.
