WhatsApp has released its own app for the Apple Watch.
This will allow users to read full messages, view chat history, send quick emoji reactions, and record and send voice messages without using their iPhone.
The WhatsApp on the smartwatch also displays high-resolution images and stickers.
Unfortunately, call support is still limited. You can see incoming calls on the watch, but you cannot make or answer WhatsApp calls directly from it.
The app supports end-to-end encryption and is compatible with Apple Watch Series 4 or later models running watchOS 10 or later.
WhatsApp says more features will be added later, stay tuned.
