OpenAI has released its Sora video-generation app for Android.
Sora can turn written prompts or images into short, AI-generated videos.
It offers different styles, such as realistic, animated, or stylized looks.
The app also lets users edit or expand existing clips, remix others’ creations, and browse community-made videos for inspiration.
This release follows last month’s launch of the app on iOS. OpenAI has also removed the invite requirement in select regions, allowing users to start creating videos right away.
The Sora app is now available on the Google Play Store for users in Canada, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and the United States.
The app is not yet available in the Philippines, so interested users here may have to stay tuned for updates.
