What We Know So Far About the Galaxy S26 Series

Galaxy S26 Series

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series is set to be officially unveiled at an Unpacked Event in South Korea next month.

The series is expected to include the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra.

According to rumors, Samsung may upgrade the Galaxy S26’s battery to 4,300mAh, compared to the 4,000mAh battery in the vanilla S25.

Major camera upgrades are expected to be limited, though a new telephoto sensor could offer better detail and lower noise in low-light shots.

Under the hood, Samsung is likely to use a split-chip strategy, unlike the previous year. The Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus may come with the Exynos 2600 in some regions, while other markets could get the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

The most notable changes may be in software, with a focus on generative AI. Reports suggest Samsung could collaborate with Perplexity AI for the S26, along with a possible revamp of Bixby.
