
realme has officially introduced its new flagship smartphone in China, the realme Neo8.
The device comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED flexible display with FHD+ resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It supports 10-bit color, up to 1,800 nits peak brightness, and a touch sampling rate of up to 3,800Hz.
For cameras, the phone uses a triple rear setup consisting of a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS. It supports up to 3.5x optical zoom and 120x digital zoom.

On the front is a 16MP selfie camera. Both the rear and front cameras support HDR video and multiple shooting modes, including professional video and time-lapse modes.
Powering the device is the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform, featuring a maximum clock speed of 3.8 GHz. It is paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, with configurations ranging from 12GB RAM with 256GB storage up to 16GB RAM with 1TB storage.
The phone is equipped with an 8,000mAh battery and supports up to 80W wired fast charging via SuperVOOC and UFCS standards. It also supports multiple charging protocols, including PPS and PD.

Out of the box, the device runs the realme UI 7.0 operating system.
