Numerous businesses are developing AR glasses, and brands like OPPO and TCL already sell a product in this market. At the IFA electronics expo in Berlin, Lenovo unveiled a pair of display glasses with the moniker Lenovo Glasses T1.

The recently unveiled Lenovo gadget serves as a head-worn secondary display for smartphones and PCs but does not support augmented reality.

A high-contrast Micro-OLED display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel Full HD screen resolution is included. One display is provided for each eye, and it has built-in speakers and is TUV Low Blue Light certified. Additionally, the business claims that there is a choice for personalized prescription lens inserts.

There is no computing happening on the glasses, in contrast to Lenovo’s ThinkReality glasses that were released for business users. This implies that everything is controlled by the device you put the glasses into; there is no hand tracking or other such capabilities.

With its USB-C connection, the Lenovo Glasses T1 may connect to a variety of devices, including Windows, Mac, and Android smartphones. Additionally, the business provides a Lightning converter for compatibility with iPhones.

Pricing and availability have not yet been disclosed by the business, but it has been verified that the Lenovo Glasses T1 will be sold in the Chinese market later this year and in other areas starting in 2019.
