Thanks to stolen photos out of what it looks to be a press invite, a new mid-range smartphone is about to be released on September 6 in India. For the right price, Vivo Z1X could be a compelling option due to its impressive spec sheet.

For starters, Z1X comes with a Super AMOLED display capable of under-screen fingerprint scanning. Although it comes with a teardrop notch, it’s not obtrusive due to the dewdrop form. Battery-wise, we’re looking at a massive 4500mAh with 22.5W FlashCharge technology. Of course, that’s via USB Type-C. The main camera is highlighted by a 48MP sensor, likely a Sony sensor. Given its a triple-camera setup, we might see ultrawide and depth sensors. As for the selfie camera, it will use a 32MP sensor. Last but not least is the Snapdragon 712 chipset.
Recently, Vivo sent out a press release for the imminent Philippine launch of Vivo S1. It has nearly the same specs as Z1X, albeit with an Helio P65 and 18W FlashCharge. The price and release date remain to be seen.
