vivo has officially launched the Y29 in the Philippines.
The Y29 boasts a 6.68-inch IPS LCD screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1000 nits brightness.
The device also comes with SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance, Military Grade Certification, and IP64 rating.
As for the cameras, the vivo Y29 offers a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary sensor at the back. On the front, it comes with an 8MP selfie shooter.
Priced at PHP 8,999, the device features a 6500mAh BlueVolt battery, the largest in the Y Series, along with a 6nm Snapdragon 685 processor and up to 8GB extended RAM and microSD card expansion up to 2TB.
The phone supports 44W FlashCharge, reaching 50% in 41 minutes, which vivo claims the battery can retain up to 80% capacity after five years.
For audio and visuals, the Y29 offers dual stereo speakers with up to 400% volume boost and a TÜV Rheinland-certified display.
