
After teasers, and leaks, vivo earlier launched its latest smartphones under the X80 series in China, the vivo X80 and the vivo X80 Pro.
The vanilla vivo X80 sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ E4 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh, up to 1300 nits brightness, HDR10+, a 32MP centered-punch-hole selfie camera, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Inside, it is powered by the flagship 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000 5G processor, paired with up to 12GB of LPDR5 RAM, up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,500mAh battery capacity with 80W fast charging. There’s also the GPU Fusion technology to further enhance its gaming capabilities.
Camera-wise, it is equipped with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX866 RGBW main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 12MP 50mm 2X portrait lens.
vivo X80 Pro
The vivo X80 Pro, on the other hand, boasts a 6.78-inch QHD+ E5 AMOLED LTPO screen with a 1-120Hz variable refresh rate, a 32MP punch-hole selfie shooter, and a large-area ultra-sonic fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, it is available in both the 4nm MediaTek Dimenity 9000 chip and the 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The former is paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage, while the latter comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It also packs a 4,700mAh battery with 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.
For photography, it sports a quad-rear camera configuration with a 50MP Samsung GNV primary sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide shooter, a 12MP 50mm 2X portrait module, and an 8MP 5X periscope telephoto lens.
The camera of both smartphones comes with the new vivo V1+ image signal processor designed to improve its graphics and camera capabilities as well as efficiency. They also incorporate ZEISS T* coating and ZEISS optics. Camera features include Zeiss Cinematic film blur and XDR Photo high dynamic range.

Both smartphones are now available for pre-order in China and will go on sale starting April 29.
