Vivo X20 Plus UD’s In-Screen Fingerprint Sensor won’t work with some screen protectors

Vivo finally launched the most-awaited X20 Plus UD, which is the first smartphone that features in-screen fingerprint sensor. Vivo has partnered with US-based sensor maker Synaptics to achieve under-glass fingerprint sensor in the front of the phone. However, be informed that the in-screen fingerprint sensor might not work with some screen protectors.

So, for the consumers to be able to experience the new feature, the company is providing a thin screen protector in the box package of the phone. The included screen protector will not only safeguard the screen but also to unlock it by pressing the fingerprint icon. If the time comes that it needs replacement, no need to worry since Vivo also stated that they’ll be selling screen protectors for the X20 Plus UD as well.
