
Vivo finally launched the most-awaited X20 Plus UD, which is the first smartphone that features in-screen fingerprint sensor. Vivo has partnered with US-based sensor maker Synaptics to achieve under-glass fingerprint sensor in the front of the phone.
The X20 Plus UD comes with a massive 6.43-inch, 18:9 Super OLED display with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,140. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, coupled with 4 GB RAM and 128 internal storage and fueled by 3,905 mAh battery. According to Synaptics, the sensor illuminates and reads the crests of the fingerprint and it would not be possible with an LCD.
In the camera department, it has a main dual camera is 12 MP with f/1.8 aperture + 5 MP and a 12 MP selfie snapper.
However, the mentioned smartphone is only available in China for now. Pre-orders are now open although no pricing details have been announced yet.
