vivo has unveiled its latest smartphone, the vivo V40 5G, highlighting its impressive 80W fast charging capability.
However, unlike traditional offerings, this model doesn’t come with a charging adapter included in the box. This decision mirrors recent trends from industry giants like Apple and Samsung, who also opted to sell chargers separately in some of their latest releases.
Under the hood, the vivo V40 5G runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and offers two configurations, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage or 12GB RAM with 512GB storage. It sports a vibrant 6.78 inches 120Hz AMOLED display with a crisp 1.5K resolution. The camera setup features a 50MP main camera alongside a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
vivo is introducing the V40 series, starting with the V40 model, to European markets for the first time. It’s an expansion of vivo’s product lineup in Europe, potentially offering European consumers access to a new range of vivo smartphones that were previously unavailable in their region.
As of now, there is no price available, but it is listed on vivo’s official website in Europe.
