vivo announced the vivo Pad Air in China last week, but they didn’t say when or how much it would cost. Today, the brand made it public that it will come in four different configurations and start at CNY 1,799 (about PHP14,100) in China.
vivo Pad Air Specifications
The 11.5-inch LCD screen on the vivo Pad Air has a resolution of 2.8K, a refresh rate of 144Hz, a 3:2 aspect ratio, 10-bit colour, and a P3 colour range. It has a 5-megapixel camera on the front, and an 8-megapixel camera without a flash on the back.
The Pad Air has four speakers and an 8,500mAh battery that can be charged quickly with 44W. The device is run by a Snapdragon 870 CPU and has up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM. It is powered by Android 13 and OriginOS 3.0, which is a tablet-specific skin.
The vivo Pencil 2 pen can be used with the vivo Pad Air. In terms of how it connects, it has up to 5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and USB-C (USB 3.0) as choices. Metal is used to make the back shell. The width of the tablet is 6.67 mm, and it weighs 530 grams.
Pricing and Availability
The vivo Pad Air can have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, or 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
These different kinds cost CNY 1,799 (about PHP14,100), CNY 1,999 (about PHP16,000), CNY 2,299 (about PHP18,000), and CNY 2,599 (PHP20,000), respectively.
It comes in three colours: Easy Silver, Free Blue, and Brave Power.
In China, you can pre-order the Pad Air, and it will go on sale on August 18. No one knows if the Pad Air will be sold outside of China.
