Vivo Philippines confirmed to us — and other media partners — that a new phone is coming very soon. Though information regarding the upcoming product is still under wraps, the company did share a few tidbits. For starters, Vivo Y20s (G) is the name of the phone. As you might have expected, it’s going to focus on gaming features made while keeping the price easy to the pocket.
Vivo Y20s (G) will feature 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and MediaTek’s Helio G80 octa-core entry-level gaming processor. To further boost the gaming capability of the Y20s (G), the software will also feature Multi-Turbo 3.0 and HyperEngine Game Technology.
Given the name of the phone, there’s a good chance that the upcoming
“gaming phone” is an updated version of the Y20s announced back in October. That regular Y20s came with a 6.51″ HD+ IPS LCD, 13MP triple-camera, 8MP selfie, and a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
