Though we expect iQOO 5 to be the first phone with 120W fast charging, Xiaomi beat them to the punch with the Mi 10 Ultra. But, that doesn’t take away the fact that the upcoming gaming-centric phone is still going to come with the fastest-charging solution to date. In a new report, iQOO 5 official retail box got pictured and posted online. While the box was never opened, we did get a few camera samples from the triple-camera array.Â
Gaming phones are great as gaming phones, but when it comes to camera quality, they always have reservations. In fact, gaming brands like iQOO don’t bother promoting their cameras at all. But today, that seems not to be the case. According to the leaked photos, the metadata reveals 12.5MP resolution, which is most likely from a quad-Bayer 48MP sensor. With the downscaled samples, you will notice lower detail quality. Nevertheless, two of them show a fast shutter speed and good Night mode capability. The leaker said that iQOO 5 would boast a pericope lens to achieve a 5x optical zoom lens and 60x digital zoom.Â
Vivo will announce iQOO 5 on August 17th, with highlights including 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 865+ with dual-standby 5G, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage and 4000mAh battery that charges up to 50% in just 5 minutes.
