In the United Kingdom, the pre-order price of the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM gaming display is £1,098.95 (including Tax). The display will retail for USD 999 in the US from ASUS, but you can’t buy it just yet from Newegg. In April, merchandise will be available to consumers in the UK.
Regarding gameplay monitors, the Asus ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM is among the best you can buy. An OLED screen with a resolution of 2,560 by 1,440 pixels and a reaction time of just 0.03 milliseconds makes this 27-inch display one of the quickest video gaming options. The monitor’s color fidelity is top-notch, coming in at Delta E 2 and covering 99% of the DCI-P3 color space. For standard dynamic range (SDR) material, its brightness is typically around 450 nits, while for high dynamic range (HDR), it can get as intense as 1000 nits.
Asus’s inclusion of an anti-glare micro-textured covering, which lowers reflections and allows for peak luminance of up to 1000 nits, improves the viewing experience. Even during lengthy gameplay periods, the monitor will not overheat thanks to the custom heatsink and improved interior airflow channels.
The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM supports AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC, and it has DP 1.4, HDMI 2.0, and USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A connections for maximum connectivity. The monitor has a VESA attachment and height-adjustable support, so you can set it exactly where you need it.
