The ASUS gaming monitor series features the latest OLED technology and a unique heat dissipation mechanism. According to Asus, the ROG Swift PG42UQ and PG48UQ OLED gaming monitors deliver enhanced gaming performance.

It has been seven months since Asus announced its latest gaming monitors during CES 2022. A 4K flat OLED panel is found on the 42-inch ROG Swift OLED PG42UQ and 48-inch ROG Swift OLED PG48UQ. In addition, they feature a custom heat sink that enhances performance and prolongs their life. In addition to high refresh rates and response times, the two new gaming monitors feature high-quality color, contrast, and brightness.

Additionally, they use a sub-pixel layout to provide extreme levels of detail and improve the viewing experience. The PG42UQ and PG48UQ are up to high-octane handling games, so gamers will delight in them. These monitors offer a refresh rate of 138Hz and a response time of 0.1ms! A heat dissipation mechanism also dissipates the heat generated during operation, and the new monitors feature a custom heatsink design to prevent the driver circuitry from overheating.

 

Asus ROG Swift PG42UQ

With a contrast ratio of 1.2 million:1, the ROG Swift PG42UQ and PG48UQ gaming monitors provide excellent image quality. Those devices support HDR 10 output and display 98% DCI-P3 color gamut. Additionally, the models have an anti-glare coating that reduces ambient reflections. DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and HDMI 2.0 ports are available on the new ROG Swift OLED models. The tripod socket and USB hub are also included. Both models feature built-in speakers from Harman Kardon and two HDMI 2.1 ports that deliver 48Gbps bandwidth.

There is still no information on the complete global pricing of the Asus ROG Swift PG42UQ and PG48UQ OLED. Taiwanese retail prices for the PG42UQ and PG48UQ are about $1,299 and $1,499, respectively. Subsequently, the related costs will be released in the United States and other markets.
