Microsoft has accidentally leaked both upcoming Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL – all powered by Windows 10 Mobile OS – before the official unveiling on October 5th event in New York. The details of the leak include exciting specs and features, few of which are highlighted down below. Checkout the two killer features of Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL we forwardly looking for.
Continuum
Redmond giant will be showcasing their first pocket PC generation thru Lumia and Windows 10-powered smartphones in a new feature called Continuum. The exclusive feature has been shown since the Windows 10 Mobile announcement and it will support smartphones and phablets running on the said OS.
So what does Continuum will offer? It’s simply a solution to the missing feature in all current smartphones OSes, and that is true mobile PC in your pocket.
One of the fundamentals of Continuum is adapting to large screens. By simply plugging your smartphone, the screen will adapt automatically and project desktop or PC interface similar to full fledge Windows 10 apps and programs. You can checkout the Continuum in action in the video below.
Face and Iris scanner, recognition
Another great feature of Windows 10 is Windows Hello, it’s a feature which uses your eyes (and face) instead of your fingers or passwords for security. Windows Hello automatically detects you on the log-in screen without pressing set of passwords. This surely makes the fingerprint sensor just a technology of yesterday. Both Lumia 950 and 950 XL will be supporting it. Really cool, right?
