Toyota Motor Philippines has officially launched the Toyota Urban Cruiser EV, a new battery electric vehicle in the Philippines.
The Urban Cruiser EV is currently Toyota’s smallest battery electric vehicle (BEV) in the Philippines, and can fit up to five passengers.
Inside, the model features a 10.1-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paired with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 9-speaker JBL sound system.
The driver’s seat is equipped with 8-way power adjustment and lumbar support, while the vehicle also includes a wireless charger and multiple drive modes.
The vehicle rides on 18-inch alloy wheels with a MacPherson front suspension and a 3-link rear setup, and uses a front-wheel-drive layout.
Power comes from a 61-kWh LFP battery paired with a front-mounted electric motor producing 174 PS and 189 Nm of torque. Toyota claims a driving range of up to 475 km on a single charge, and supports CCS Type 2 charging.
For safety, it is equipped with seven airbags along with advanced driver assistance features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, lane departure alert, a pre-collision system, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and a panoramic view monitor.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser BEV is priced at PHP 2,135,000 and is available at select BEV-certified Toyota dealerships in the Philippines.
