There are few names that are dominating the smartphone market here in the Philippines.
As of now, realme is still the #1 smartphone brand in the Philippines, realme manages to carve a 20% increase in its unit share that puts them in the top spot, despite a 21% annual decline.
On the second spot is Transsion (Infinix and Tecno). They have a 17% unit share even though it saw a healthy 202% yearly growth.
At the third spot is Oppo which is at 16% unit share. Xiaomi ranked fourth with a 15% market share and a 1% annual growth. While Samsung sits at the 5th spot with a 14% unit share and 14% growth from the previous year.
As of Q2 of 2022, the South Korean tech giant still remains the worldwide leading smartphone brand.
