The Xiaomi Black Shark gaming phone is finally here in the Philippines! According to reports, the Black Shark contains a lot of features that rivals the Razer Phone. The smartphone doesn’t seem to be lacking in terms of hardware specs as well.

The gaming phone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 along with an Adreno 630 GPU. Furthermore, it is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery supported by Fast Charging. The Black Shark runs on Android 8.0 Oreo as well. Along with these high-end specs, the company also included some additional features that truly increases the user’s gaming experience.

1.) True Liquid Cooling System
In order to solve the usual problems of smartphones when it comes to heavy games, Black Shark has included a True Liquid Cooling system in their device. The multi-stage processed cooling system cool’s the smartphone’s temperature down by 8-degrees when the limit has been reached.
The company managed to create an advanced version of the cooling system that has existed already.
2.) Shark Space
The Black Shark gaming phone has a toggle at its left side that enables it to activate the Shark Space mode, a designated place for immersive gaming. In this mode, the user may adjust the settings to avoid call interruptions from happening. The player may also turn off notifications, turn on ExtremeMode, clean the RAM, and change the configuration settings of the controller through the GameDock. You can find this by sliding downwards on the home button while you’re in Shark Space.
Not only does it stop call interruptions but you can also avoid getting calls from social media applications like Messenger even if you’re using your mobile data through its Diving mode. The phone can detect calls from these applications and avoid it without interrupting the internet connection. In short, this mode allows the user to fully immerse themselves during game play without having to worry about being distracted.
3.) Its own Gaming controller
A designated gaming controller was created for Black Shark. This controller connects with the device through Bluetooth and can be re-configurated to match your preference. Some stores here in the Philippines like the Widget City includes this controller in the package along with the smartphone but it was originally sold separately in other parts of the world. This controller also works with other smartphone although it might not fit properly.
4.) Smart Speaker System
At first glance, the device seems to have just one speaker. However, the earpiece at the top actually serves as a secondary speaker which means that the Black Shark gaming phone offers dual speakers. In addition, this smart speaker can detect when a secondary speaker is needed as well as the appropriate volume.
5.) Smart Dock
The Smart Dock is a feature that can serve as a shortcut to the music player as well as other applications. This feature can be activated through the Touchpad settings and is accessible by swiping the home button to the left or to the right.
