Best smartphone display in 2015: Sony Xperia Z5 Premium with 4K UHD
There were a lot of doubts and assumptions in 4K UHD screen of Sony Xperia Z5 Premium when it was announced by Sony just this September. But upon reviewing and handling the Xperia Z5 Premium in person, we found out that the 4K UHD is a no-gimmick feature.
Display Comparison: Galaxy Note 5 QHD Super AMOLED, Nexus 6P, LG G4 Quantum IPS LCD VS Xperia Z5 Premium 4K UHD Bravia Triluminos
The 4K UHD does makes a difference in sharpness and display quality. There is a small difference in sharpness when you compared the 4K UHD against QHDs (Galaxy Note 5, Nexus 6P, LG V10). But the biggest improvement in the screen of Xperia Z5 Premium is not on the detail level but in the color reproduction and white balance accuracy.
We found out the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium’s display has very vivid and punchy output that is close in matching the Super AMOLED in top Galaxy phones. Brightness level is also maintained to be on high-calibre with great contrast and white balance level.
Honorable displays, 2nd and 3rd best screens goes to Note 5 and V10
Just sitting closely behind the Xperia Z5 Premium in display category is the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with Super AMOLED and the LG V10 with IPS Quantum screen. Both displays have QHD (2560 x 1440p) resolutions.
