As Elon Musk is busy trying to fix the mess he made with Twitter. Still, his other company, Tesla, has just released something crazy! A $300 (₱17,000) wireless charger that can only charge up to 15w but can charge different devices simultaneously.
Its sleek design is based on the Cybertruck— sharp angles and a metallic look owned by Elon Musk and is rumored to come out in 2023. The gadget is similar to Apple’s AirPower, which was shown in 2017 but never released on the market. It is made of aluminum and has a high-quality Alcantara surface and a magnetic stand that can be taken off. The platform can be set down flat or at an angle so that devices can be viewed better while charging.
The primary purpose of the Wireless Charging Platform is to charge up to three devices at once. It does this using FreePower, a Qi-based charging standard that lets you charge your devices wirelessly without having to line them up perfectly and at the right speed. Yes, Tesla could do what Apple’s AirPower couldn’t, but it was very expensive.
Three Qi-enabled devices, like Apple and Android phones and earbuds, but not smartwatches, can be charged simultaneously.
Tesla’s Wireless Charging Platform will start shipping in February 2023. What are your thoughts about this? Let us know in the comments below!
