Clear your RAM
Some people don’t exactly know this, but clearing your RAM can be truly helpful in a way that it shuts down any random background app running. This also clears any unnecessary apps that will get in y our way and smoothes up your browsing experience with ease.
Turning off animation in browse transition
There is a way to smoothen up your browsing experience but it will remove the animated transition in browsing, which is often times something that causes the delay or lag in the first place. If you’ve decided to turn this off, you’re a transition from place-to-place is expected to be as smooth as the sailing sailboat and is pretty much a good thing to you. However, if you prefer the flashy animated transition and won’t mind the little lag it induces, then it’s all on you.
Check your internal storage space
Apparently, a clogged internal storage can also lead to certain lags and delays on the Up Ultra and almost all smartphones for that matter. The best thing that you can do to reduce the lagging is free up some space, remove a few apps that you don’t use of a few movies that you’ve already watched for like a “hundredth time”, trust us it’ll leave your Up Ultra running smoothly
When lag spikes hit, try to restart your device
Sometimes lag spikes in the Up Ultra have become a huge nuisance and almost it comes out-of-nowhere. So, if the lag persistently becomes more than a nuisance, try to restart your phone. It might refresh a few of its smoothness back in its system. It worked on our end on some occasions, so it might work on your end.
The Starmobile Up Ultra and its lag issues
The lag issues we’ve experienced on the Starmobile Up Ultra had a huge impact on our review of the latter, which we could have given the handset an overall better score. However, despite this particular problem in frequent lagging, we can arguably say that it’s not the “laggiest phone” we’ve encountered. It had its moments of shining and is overall a not-to-shabby handset.
For that, though, we hope these tips work on your end, so you, yourselves can enjoy your own Starmobile Up Ultra and make the best of the handset and experience with it. Hit us up in the comment section on your experiences so far and if any of our ways worked for you. We’d love to hear your stories as much as telling ours.
