Spotify, a big music streaming service, has officially raised the price of its Premium plan in the US to $10.99 (around ₱600).
Monday morning (July 24), the company announced the new prices in a blog post that Premium prices are changing in a number of markets around the world.
According to Spotify these changes will help the music streaming app to continue giving fans and artists value.
Spotify says that current Premium users will be given a one-month grace period before the new price goes into effect, unless they cancel before the grace period ends.
According to a new blog post from Spotify, beginning Monday (July 24), the platform will raise its Premium prices in the following markets, in addition to the US:

The Philippines is not yet included on the list as of this time. However, as a result of recent price increases made not just to music streaming services but also to movie streaming websites and several other entertainment applications, we could say that the price of Spotify in the Philippines might go up as well.
