SpaceX has announced its latest Starlink service, called the Starlink Premium, offering more than double the antenna capability of Starlink for faster internet speeds and higher throughput.
According to the company, the Starlink Premium is designed for high-demand users that helps ensure bandwidth for critical operations even during times of peak network usage.
Subscribers can expect download speeds of 150-500 Mbps and latency of 20-40ms from Starlink Premium. The original Starlink offers 100-200 Mbps with 20ms latency. There are also no long-term contracts, data caps, or exclusivity requirements.
The Starlink Premium comes with the new Starlink antenna, WiFi router, cables, and base. Users can also benefit from 24/7 prioritized support.
The company has yet to provide the subscription price, but it is now accepting orders with expected shipping in Q2 2022.
