
Sony Interactive Entertainment confirms changes in PlayStation 5 prices across Southeast Asia, including the Philippines.
Previously, pricing adjustments were implemented in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Japan.
Now, in the Philippines, the standard PS5 model will be affected as well.

According to the PlayStation blog, the new suggested retail price is set at around PHP40,032 and is set to take effect on May 1, 2026.
Before the increase takes effect, local retailers such as DataBlitz and Game One PH are still listing current prices.
As of now, the PS5 Slim Disc version is commonly priced at around PHP30,790, while the Digital version is listed at about PHP25,990.
