The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) announced the availability of the BIR Digital TIN ID through the eGovPH App Mobile ID Wallet.
According to BIR’s post on Facebook, users can now access their TIN ID digitally, subject to system validation and matching with official BIR records.
How to Access My Digital TIN ID
To access the service, users need to download the eGovPH app, which is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. After installation, users must create an account and provide their personal information.
Identity verification is required, including facial recognition.

Users must then log in to their newly created account using their registered email address or mobile number. A one-time password (OTP) will be sent, and users must also set and enter a six-digit PIN.

After logging in, users should go to the Digital ID section found at the bottom of the app. From there, the Digital TIN ID can be viewed.

The system will only display the digital TIN ID if the user’s eGovPH profile matches BIR records or if the user already has an existing digital record created through the BIR Online Registration and Update System (ORUS).

Keep in mind that the Digital TIN ID is free of charge and not for sale.
