Asus and Lenovo have always faced each other in our ultimate comparisons and their recent clash, the Zenfone Selfie vs Vibe Shot ultimate comparison is one of their most epic yet, however, based from our ultimate comparison, Vibe Shot has a few advantages over its competition, the Zenfone Selfie. In regards to that, we provided a list of reasons as to why the Vibe Shot trumps over the Zenfone Selfie. Check out their specs, features and prices for further understanding of these reasons.

A much more premium-like design

Theres no doubt that the VibeShot’s glass back exterior cover is one of the most stylish designs on a smartphone, its smooth and luxurious look surely trumps the Zenfone Selfie’s polycarbonate back in many ways and thus, the more premium Vibe Shot, got the better of its opponent in regards of design. This back cover surely is something that we might see in future Lenovo devices or even non-Lenovo ones alike.

OIS feature in camera

The Vibe Shot’s OIS feature is something that the Selfie was having trouble overcoming with on their ultimate comparison. The Vibe Shot’s OIS feature helped the device to deliver crisp and clear outputs, which gave the Zenfone Selfie a hard time. This particular feature played a major role as to why the Vibe Shot is a more worthwhile smartphone camera shooter than the Zenfone Selfie. Don’t get us wrong though, the Zenfone Selfie’s outputs didn’t deliver anything bad, it just happens that the Vibe Shot’s OIS feature and overall camera capability showcased a more effective combination and provided more sharper and clearer outputs than Zenfone Selfie.

Slightly faster performance

On our performance tests conducted on the devices, it seems that the Vibe Shot showcase a bit more kick than the Zenfone Selfie. The Vibe Shot showcased supremacy in our boot up test and benchmark tests, which solidified the Vibe Shots overall decent system performance than Zenfone Selfie, however, these advantages are only by a few inch in needle, meaning that they were advantages that were really close. This just means that despite this advantage of the Lenovo Vibe Shot over its competitor, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the Zenfone Selfie is just a run-of-a-mill device, to be fair it did almost made the VibeShot run for its money.

Triple LED flash feature

A noticeable advantage of the VibeShot, the Triple LED flash of the VibeShot made the Zenfone Selfie a bit weary in its tracks. It parred up great against the Zenfone Selfie’s dual tone LED flash and showcased a bit more crispness in its outputs. This is a very obvious advantage in feature that can be seen on both devices. Outputs were compared to make sure that these flashes actually did something to improve the image outputs and it did. Both flash features were good, but the triple LED-flash of the Vibe Shot trumps out the dual tone of Zenfone Selfie.

Manual pro camera controls

Its not gonna be much of a smartphone camera if the controls are way too much automatically calculated. Such as using a DSLR, the Vibe Shot gives you full manual pro controls, which is a feature that provides you complete camera functionality settings such as adjustments of shutterspeed, ISO and even aperture. This feature present on the Vibe Shot gives you the freedom to maximize your shots, with one of those you uses a DSLR. The Vibe Shot is simply something that’ll be enjoyed by photo enthusiasts and photo professionals alike, with its full pro freedom controls that can bring out the Pro capability within all.

Battery Life

In our separate video battery test on both the Vibe Shot and Zenfone Selfie, it was pretty much clear that the Vibe Shot showcased a more steady battery longevity, with its 88% battery life, after a two-hour movie has been played, in comparison to the Zenfone Selfie’s outcome of 83%. Its not exactly that much of an advantage to say the least, but this little advantage in battery longevity might play a vital role, when placed in a real life scenario, wherein communication is crucial and battery life is a bit low, so, battery-wise the VibeShot is a worthwhile buy for your buck in all aspects possible.

Despite the Vibe Shot’s advantage, it will still depend on you, the buyer on whether to patronize either both of these devices, because, purchasing power is something that should be considered to, when picking the right phone.
