Samsung has announced Galaxy J6‘s launch date on May 21 recently. Now, it was also confirmed that it will be hitting the market particularly India on the following day of its release.

It seems that Samsung is putting the premium design on their midrange smartphones with their slogan ‘Infinity & more.’ The Galaxy J6 will sport 5.6-inch AMOLED screen with a Full HD+, screen resolution of 1480 x 720 pixels. It also has an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.
Under the hood, is an octa-core Exynos 7870 SoC along with RAM and storage variants, 2GB, 3GB and 4GB with 32G/64GB internal storage and runs Android 8.0 Oreo. The Galaxy J6 will be packed with 3000mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology and is likely to feature an S Bike Mode and an Ultra Data Saving. The optics will have a 13MP for the rear camera and 8MP for the front-facing camera with LED flash.
With other smartphone manufacturers offering powerful and innovative handsets, it will be interesting to see if Samsung’s Galaxy J6 will dominate the Indian market now that Xiaomi has bought the Redmi smartphones with nice specifications at a cheap price.
